Greetings!
We're nearly through our first month of summer. If you're like me, the last 2-3 months have flown by, and it feels like it should be April or May, but the hot temperatures of July are a slap of reality.
While this edition still has some great information (and I fully encourage you to read from beginning to end -- or end to beginning), we've 'lightened' the content this month. A quick read isn't such a bad thing, right?
Take care!

Bicycling and roundabouts relative to safety measures will be among the highlighted topics, as well as the M25 Smart Motorways project.
Dates: September 8-September 12, 2014 Participants should plan to arrive in London on Saturday, September 6 and depart no sooner than Saturday, September 13.
Cost: A $500 USD registration fee includes 2-day bus transportation to meetings outside of London and 5 organized lunches. Participants are responsible for their own airfare, optional group dinners and meals, transportation within London, and hotel accommodations.

Breaking News...sort of...
The House voted Tuesday in favor of a short-term, multi-billion dollar fix to the Highway Trust Fund, which helps pay for federal highway and transit programs. While this still needs to go through a few more steps, there is hope that at least a short-term fix can be realized.
More information can be found here, but feel free to use google to get the latest!!
