MEET OUR CROSS BORDER HEALTH RESEARCH ASSOCIATE

On October 7, 2013, Caesars Windsor kicked off the WCRG's PASSPORTS campaign
with a $25,000 donation. Since then the campaign has been fully funded by support from the University of Windsor's Cross Border Institute and Windsor Regional Hospital. A main goal of this initiative is to establish a cross-border research coordinating office that would work to standardize the cross-border access, transportation and processing of tissue samples. To drive this initiative forward and achieve these goals, we are excited to introduce you to WCRG's Cross Border Health Research Associate, Salma Aljannati, BSc CCRP.

Salma comes to us from Princess Margaret Cancer Centre where she was a Clinical Data and Regulatory Coordinator within the Department of Medical Oncology and Hematology.

COMMERCIALIZATION RESEARCH ASSOCIATE JOINS OUR TEAM

Thanks to the generous support of the Cross Border Institute, we were able to add a Commercialization Research Associate
to our team. Rebecca Williams has a PhD in Molecular Ecology
from the University of Windsor as well as a Bachelors of Education. Her new role will focus on advancing the commercialization of cancer-related innovations and products.
