Spring 2014                                                 Vol. 3

SPRING IS HERE!

Although it was a cold and long winter, the Windsor Cancer Research Group has been very busy thanks to the support of the University of Windsor and Windsor Regional Hospital. We'd like to share with you some of our news, accomplishments and upcoming community events.

PASSPORTS UPDATE

After Caesars Windsor kicked off the WCRG's campaign PASSPORTS in October, Windsor Regional Hospital and the University of Windsor's Cross-Border Institute added their support. This campaign will establish an international cancer research office in Windsor to  facilitate cross-border collaborations and develop the protocols for international clinical trial access for cancer patients in Windsor-Essex. Thank you to our partners for their amazing support!

UPCOMING EVENTS

May is a busy month, we hope to see you at one of these events!

On May 12, WCRG will also be participating in the Canada Wide Science Fair. This brings Canada's top, young, selected scientists together.
