As we approach the end of 2013, the Windsor Cancer Research Group would like to take a moment and share with you some of our news, accomplishments and community events of the past year.

LAUNCH OF THE PASSPORTS CAMPAIGN 

On October 7th, the Windsor Cancer Research Group (WCRG) proudly announced the launch of a new $100,000 fundraising campaign called Passports: Bridging Research and Hope. This innovative, ground-breaking initiative is aimed at

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

In 2013 we wanted to have a greater focus on our community. Indeed you may have seen us around over the last few months at various community events. We are excited to report that we have made great community connections through our public seminars, research showcases and local outreach programs. Here are a few to highlight.

Several members of our WCRG team received awards this year for their hard work and dedication to cancer research and community healthcare. Here are a few we'd like to highlight.

SPECIAL THANK YOU
As we wrap up 2013, we'd like to take this opportunity to thank some key supporters of the WCRG. Thank you to Caesars Windsor for their generous $25,000 donation to kick start our Passports campaign. With their support our campaign is well on its way. We'd also like to acknowledge the tremendous support from Snapd Windsor. Their consistent coverage of all our community events and generous support of our Passports Campaign is appreciated. Thank you, Jeff. And finally, we'd like to extend a special thank you to the Medved family of Windsor who supported the WCRG through memorial donations in honour of their loved one, Tomo Medved.
