Student Progress Conferences Thursday, October 6. Conferences
2:30 pm to 5:00 pm & 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm
If your daughter's teacher's or guidance counselor's conference time slots are filled, you are encouraged to email him/her to schedule a conference for a different day/time. If you ever need to speak with a teacher or guidance counselor, please do not hesitate to schedule a conference with him/her at any time by clicking here for our staff directory to send an email.
All of the teachers and guidance counselors have office hours from 7:30-8:15 am every morning and would be happy to meet with you regarding any questions or concerns that you may have. If that time does not work well for you, you can also request a phone conference. Resurrection strongly encourages teacher-student-parent communication, so please contact your daughter's teacher/guidance counselor any time you have a question or concern.

Senior Financial Aid Night Tuesday, October 11, 2016
The Resurrection Guidance Department is hosting a financial aid meeting for Senior students and their parents. The guest speaker will be FAFSA representative and Resurrection alumna Maria Marella. All senior parents are strongly encouraged to attend.
Our presenter has recommended that parents and daughters who have not yet obtained an "FSA ID" do so before attending the presentation. The FSA ID allows parents and students access to transfer IRS Data to the FAFSA, and acts as the electronic signature when submitting the FAFSA.
Parents and students can access the FSA ID Web site at www.StudentAid.gov/fsaid. Parents should obtain the FSA ID only for themselves, and not for their daughter(s). Daughters should obtain their own FSA ID. Parents and their daughter(s) should write down this information, including the FSA ID and associated e-mail address, password and challenge questions and responses, so that this information is not forgotten. It will be needed each time the student submits a FAFSA or a correction.
Parents may not share an e-mail address with their daughters in the FSA ID system. An e-mail address is not required to obtain an FSA ID, although it is strongly encouraged. If you have questions about obtaining the FSA ID, please bring them with to the presentation.

Wanted - Old Cell Phones
Do you have any old cell phones sitting around your house that you aren't utilizing anymore? Would you love to help in the education and empowerment of amazing young women? If you answered yes, then please consider donating your old phone (iPhone or Android) to Resurrection College Prep's Technology Department!
We are incorporating the use of virtual reality content into our classrooms and through the use of Google Cardboard headsets (ours are actually plastic), our students can virtually visit a number of great places. The Sistine Chapel, Verona, museums, natural wonders and more will give students a first-hand look at the things they are learning about. For an iPhone, it needs to be at least an iPhone 5. For Android, it must be able to run OS 4.4. Any phones that are donated will be completely wiped of any information that may be left on it. Contact Resurrection Educational Technologist Joe Lascon at jlascon@reshs.org with any questions.
