Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week

Thank you to all of the parents and students who helped to make Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week a lovely week full of recognition, notes of appreciation and treats. Special thanks to the Taylor family who provided lunch for all staff and faculty on Tuesday, May 3, to the Parents Club who provided breakfast for all staff and faculty on Thursday, May 5 and to the the Student Council who provided treats to all of the staff and faculty on Friday, May 6.  We are so grateful to be part of such a wonderful community!

Parents Club Meeting - Getting a Jump Start on College Planning

At the Tuesday, May 10th Parents Club Meeting, Resurrection Guidance Counselor Elissa Lopez will present "Getting a Jump Start on College Planning"  a guide for freshmen, sophomore, and junior families. The meeting will take place at 7 pm in the Resurrection Library and all are welcome. 

Moretti's Fundraising Day

On Wednesday, May 11th, Moretti's in Edison Park will donate 15% back to Resurrection when you show this flyer.   Dine-in, take-out or delivery!

Spring Dance Showcase - A Spring Awakening

The Resurrection Fine Arts Department will wrap up the Spring Fine Arts Festival on Thursday, May 12th with the Spring Dance Showcase, entitled A Spring Awakening.  Tickets are $5 and will be available at the door. Parents are also welcome to attend the Honors Dance program on Friday, May 13 during Seminars A & B, beginning at 11:15 am. 

Financial Forms & Transportation Forms Reminder

All freshmen, sophomore, junior families are reminded that 2016-17 financial agreement form, payment option form and 2016-17 requests for bus transportation are due to the Main Office by Friday, May 13.

Graduation Party Fundraising Opportunity

Unforgettable Edibles catering company is offering a fundraising opportunity for Resurrection for the graduation season. Unforgettable Edibles will donate 10% of the proceeds back to Resurrection from any Resurrection family who places a catering order this season.  The offer may be used for a graduation party or First Communion party and the offer is good until July 31, 2016.  Check out their menu and this fundraising opportunity for our school.  

Senior Scholarship & Awards Ceremony 

The annual Senior Scholarship & Awards Ceremony will be held on Monday, May 16, 2016 at 7 pm in the Little Theatre.  Students are acknowledged for their academic accomplishments and this is a wonderful evening for students and their parents.  Seniors - if you have not already done so, please complete this google form no later than Monday, May 11 to be included in the program on Monday, May 16.  Seniors - remember to report ALL scholarships and awards to Guidance!

ResPunzel

The annual ResPunzel hair donation program will take place on Monday, May 23, 2016. Parents, please have a conversation with your daughter regarding her participation in this worthwhile event. Past experience tells us that many students get into the spirit of giving when they see their friends getting their hair cut and decide to donate as well! There is no permission slip needed for students to donate and we prefer not to have surprises!

Have you registered for summer program at Res? Schedules and registration are available for all summer academic classes, enrichment courses, science and technology camps and athletic camps at Resurrection.  Check here for information.

Spain, France, Italy - Via Aurelia  
  
Resurrection College Prep High School will be offering an educational trip to Spain, France, and Italy from June 26 to July 5, 2017 which is open to current freshmen and sophomores of Resurrection College Prep. The trip will be coordinated with ACIS Educational Travel and will be led by Resurrection Social Studies teacher Ms. Maria Fumic and Ms. Amanda Stieber.
 
The registration deadline has been extended to July 1, 2016

Used Book & Uniform Sale

The annual Parent's Club Used Book & Uniform Sale will be on Saturday, June 11, 2016 from 8:30 - 9:30 am in the cafeteria.
