Cultural Exchange Academy
Resurrection College Prep High School will be participating in a program that provides opportunities for Chinese students in the United States, the Cultural Exchange Academy. All are invited to attend an informational meeting on Monday, April 18 at 6:30 pm in the Resurrection library. The informational meeting will present more about the program, its goals and the enriching opportunities it has for both Chinese and American students.
One of the very positive features of this program is the opportunity for the Chinese students to experience American family life by living with a host family. American families have a wonderful opportunity to welcome a Chinese high school student into their home and open their heart to learning more about the world. Host families are provided a monthly stipend as compensation for food, overhead and transportation.

Spain, France, Italy - Via Aurelia
Resurrection College Prep High School will be offering an educational trip to Spain, France, and Italy from June 26 to July 5, 2017 which is open to current freshmen and sophomores of Resurrection College Prep. The trip will be coordinated with ACIS Educational Travel and will be led by Resurrection Social Studies teacher Ms. Maria Fumic and Ms. Amanda Stieber.
The trip is designed to allow students to explore the rich history of Spain, France and Italy. Via Aurelia is the most comprehensive tour of the Mediterranean where students will visit and explore all three countries and visit cities such as Barcelona, Provence, Nice, Florence, Pisa and Rome. Also, the students will experience many hands-on activities and excursions that will fully immerse them into the Spanish, French and Italian cultures.
Details and the Via Aurelia Itinerary can be found here. Please contact Ms. Maria Fumic at mfumic@reshs.org with any questions regarding the parent information meeting or to express interest in having your daughter participate in this educational travel opportunity. The 1st deadline for registration is Friday, April 1, 2016, which locks in the current price. If you enroll after April 1 there may be a slight increase in price.
