Gala & Big Money Raffle Thank You 

Thank you to everyone who supported Resurrection by participating in yesterday's Charity & Truth Gala and the Big Money Raffle!  Watch for event follow-up coming soon. We appreciate all that our parents, alumnae, staff and friends do to support our current and future students!

Congratulations Bowling

Resurrection to the Resurrection Varsity Bowling team who had a great run at State. They placed 14th at State and had record breaking scores!  Congratulations also to Olivia Canova who finished 37th of all state competitors with a 207.8 average!  Way to go, Bandits!

Fan Bus Varsity Basketball Sectional Semi-Final

Come support the Resurrection Varsity Basketball team as they take on Johnsburg on Tuesday, February 23 at St. Viator in the Sectional Semi-Final game.  The game will begin at approximately 7:30 pm.
 
Students - Res will be providing a fan bus!  The bus will leave Res at 6:30 pm (please come to the gym between 6:00 and 6:15pm), and will return to Res after the game (approximately 10:00 pm). Permission slips are available in the main office and must be returned by Tuesday morning at 8:00 am.  The cost of admission at the game is $5.  Spots are limited and will be filled on a first come, first serve basis!  Please contact Athletic Director Katie Kikos at kkikos@reshs.org with any questions.

Free ACT Prep Opportunity for Students

Act Up Speed Reading will be conducting a free workshop for students at Resurrection College Prep on Sunday, March 6 from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm.  Students who are interested in participating should complete the application form in the link below (please note, students must sign-up from their Resurrection e-mail account).  Space is limited, so students should ensure that they are able to attend before signing up.  Students should check their Schoology account for the ACT Up Speed Registration link.

Registration 2016-17

The 2016-17 Curriculum Guide is available here. Students will be registering for 2016-17 classes online the week of March 6. The $200 registration fee is due by Tuesday, March 15.

Parents - Your Parent Connect account is the only one with the security clearance needed to access the online registration feature, not your daughter's.

Self Defense Workshop at March Parents Club Meeting - Students Encouraged to Attend! Mark your calendar - Tuesday, March 8 at 7 pm 

The evening presentation will be conducted by Self Defense Coach Ed Kress who will offer a combination of lecture, role play, and some very basic physical self-defense training.  The focus will be to help students improve their personal and situational awareness and teach them how to identify and avoid potentially dangerous people, places and situations; at school, home, work and on the street. The evening will include an interactive "give and take" with students, involving them in the presentation to model various street and campus situations which they are likely to encounter. All parents and their daughters are welcome. 

Tuition Assistance and Scholarship Application Process

The application process for tuition assistance and scholarships begins in January of each year when the PSAS (Private School Aid Service) applications become available on the day of the Entrance Exam. Applications will be available in the main office. In addition, you can download the application here. The PSAS application is the application for tuition assistance and must be completed for many need-based scholarship opportunity as well. PSAS applications are due back to the PSAS company before their March 18, 2016 deadline

Feed My Starving Children Volunteer Opportunity

All Resurrection students and families are invited to join the Resurrection National Honor Society on March 19, 2016 to package meals at the "Feed My Starving Children" location in Libertyville.  Students can sign up in room 216 or by contacting Ms. Konow.

Spring Play

The Resurrection Theatre Department will present Almost, Maine on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, March 18, 19 and 20.

Ladies Day Mass & Brunch


The Annual Ladies Day Mass & Brunch sponsored by the Men's Club will be Sunday, March 20, 2016 at Resurrection. Mass will be at 10 am followed by brunch at 11:15 am.

Tuesday, March 22 will be a noon dismissal - Please note - Schedule Change 

Please note the schedule change for Tuesday, March 22, 2016.  The day will be a noon dismissal. Resurrection will be participating in the Culinary Kids Initiative from 10 am to noon.  Students who are interested in participating, complete the application no later than Feb 26 from your Resurrection student e-mail account.
