Charity & Truth Gala Auctions & Reservations
The Resurrection Charity & Truth Gala is just 2 weeks away and will be held on Saturday, February 20 from 6 pm to 11 pm at Café La Cave in Des Plaines. Reservations are due by Wednesday, February 10 - don't miss out on the fun! Join us as we celebrate and support the Resurrection College Prep Community and present our Renaissance Award to Sr. Stephanie Blaszczynski, C.R. and our Charity and Truth Award to Dr. Christine Kelly (posthumous). The evening will feature silent & live auctions, cocktails and dinner, entertainment and dancing. Reservations are available online. Reservations available here.
Big Money Raffle
The Big Money Raffle to benefit the Sr. Mary Monica Hope Scholarship Fund will be held on Saturday, February 20 at the Charity & Truth Gala. The ticket price is $50 and only 500 tickets will be sold. Take a chance to win the $10,000 Grand Prize while you support the Hope Scholarship Fund. The winner need not be present to win! Raffle tickets available here.
Toiletry Drive Extended to tomorrow

The toiletry drive has been extended to tomorrow. Donations of all toiletry items are welcome and will be donated to the New Hope Community Food Pantry. Suggested items by level: Freshmen: deodorant and soap Sophomores: toothbrushes and toothpaste Juniors: Hair care items (i.e. brushes, combs, hair ties) Seniors: feminine hygiene products Staff: lotion and moisturizer
Res Readers Book Drive

The Res Readers Book Drive to benefit the organization "Chicago Books to Women in Prison" will be held Monday, February 8 to Friday, February 19. In particular, the following books are in high need: fiction, young adult books, dictionaries, instructional foreign language books and books in Spanish. Books will be collected in the Resurrection Library.
Natural Helpers Week - Week of February 8
The Resurrection Guidance Office and the Natural Helpers student organization is hosting a week focused on positive ways to handle some of life's challenges. The themes for each day include:
Monday- Stress & Anxiety Tuesday- Pay it Forward day & Stereotypes Wednesday- Learning Disabilities Thursday- Depression Friday- No classes
Online Registration for 2016-17 School Year
Parents - your daughter will be registering for her next year classes online the week of March 6. YOUR Parent Connect account is the only one with the security clearance needed to access the online registration feature, not your daughter's.

Curriculum Guide
The 2016-17 Curriculum Guide is available here. Students will be meeting on February 11 to receive information about registration and placement. Online registration will be the week of March 6.
Scholarship Opportunity - John P. and Margaret M. Loftus Scholarship
The John P. and Margaret M. Loftus Scholarship is dedicated to the memory of John P. and Margaret M. Loftus and was established by their family as a memorial to their parents who believed education is the key to a successful future and that education creates opportunities for that success. The $500-$2000 scholarship is awarded to student(s) who work to their full academic capacity and have a strong work ethic; show leadership and community involvement; are respected by their peers and teachers and demonstrate financial need by completing the 2015-16 PSAS. Applications are available online or in the main office and are due back by February 15, 2016.
Tuition Assistance and Scholarship Application Process
The application process for tuition assistance and scholarships begins in January of each year when the PSAS (Private School Aid Service) applications become available on the day of the Entrance Exam. Applications will be available in the main office. In addition, you can download the application here. The PSAS application is the application for tuition assistance and must be completed for many need-based scholarship opportunity as well. PSAS applications are due back to the PSAS company before their March 18, 2016 deadline. Complete the 2016-17 PSAS Online PSAS Online Info Guide Print the 2016-17 PSAS Application Scholarship applications will be available beginning March 1, 2016. Applications are available in the main office and on the school's website. Scholarship applications are due Monday, April 4, 2016. Both the scholarships and the tuition assistance awards are announced by the beginning of June.
Feed My Starving Children Volunteer Opportunity
All Resurrection students and families are invited to join the Resurrection National Honor Society on March 19, 2016 to package meals at the "Feed My Starving Children" location in Libertyville. Students can sign up in room 216 or by contacting Ms. Konow.
Safety Alert
