Open House
Sunday, November 8 ~ 2:00 - 4:00 pm
Thank you to all of our Students Ambassadors, NHS members, Fine Arts students, parents
and other volunteers who helped with the October 29th Open House or will be
helping with the upcoming Open House on Sunday, November 8th.  

Please help us spread the word and encourage friends and neighbors to attend with their daughters.

Parents Club Meeting - Tuesday,  November 10 at 7 pm in the Library ~ Guest speaker Lauren Fontana from Urban Wellness will be speaking on the topic of "Teen Anxiety." All are welcome to attend.  Thank you also to everyone who supported the Parents Club Noodles & Co fundraiser on October 28. 

Athletic Boosters Meeting - Thursday, November 12 at 6 pm in the Cafe ~ All are welcome to get involved and support the athletic program at Resurrection. 

Men's Club Meeting - Tuesday, November 17 at 7 pm in the Cafe ~ All Men are invited and encouraged to attend.

 Old School Arcade Party Success

Thank you to everyone who came out to join us at the Emporium Arcade Bar
on Saturday, October 24th.  We had a great night out visiting and playing games!

Bandit Athletics
The Fall Athletic Banquet will be Wednesday, November 18 (please note new date) - 
information will be posted to Schoology and 8 to 18.  Tickets are $25 per person and must be purchased by November 11. 
Winter Athletic Tryouts will be as follows:
Basketball - Week of November 2
Bowling - Week of November 16
 is available and  must be completed
by a parent before tryouts and a current physical must
be on file in the athletic office.

Sophomore Class Toiletries Drive 
The Sophomore Class is sponsoring a toiletries drive to benefit Sarah's Circle, an organization in Chicago's Uptown community serving women who are homeless or in need of a safe space.  Please leave all items in the packaging.  

Boxes will be available in all Sophomore seminars and items will will be accepted from
 November 2 until November 6.  Items needed include deodorant, disposable razors, toothbrushes, chapstick, travel sized toothpaste, cough drops, bandaids, travel sized hand sanitizer, small Kleenex packets and multi-vitamins.

Junior Parent Meeting 
Thursday, November 12, 2015
at 7 pm in the Little Theatre 
Junior parents/guardians and students are encouraged to attend!  
Topics to be discussed include the college search process, results of the ACT Practice Test 
that was administered on October 20 and the benefits of taking an ACT Prep course.

Well Wisher Ads
Thank you to the over 100 families who have sponsored a Well Wisher Message for their
Res student.  These messages of love and pride are displayed on our Well Wisher Wall
and will also be printed in the 2015 - 2016 year book.

We have extended the message deadline until December 1, if you would
like to add your message to our Wall and yearbook. Each ad is $25.
Thank you for your support of this fundraiser and your expression of good wishes to our students.


Manna Program
    Shopping for Thanksgiving dinner?
Support Resurrection while you shop.  Purchase gift cards through the
Manna Program and Resurrection earns a percentage of the face value of each
gift card purchased through the program.  

Gift cards are available for Starbucks, iTunes, Target, Panera, Barnes & Noble, grocery stores, department stores, movie and entertainment venues, and many, many restaurants and stores.

 by Fridays for delivery the following Wednesday.
Cash Raffle
The second Cash Raffle drawing was held on Monday, November 2 at the All Soul's Day Liturgy. The November winners were: First prize of $1500: Yaroslaw Malovana; and Student winner of $100: Sofiya Malovana.  The final drawing will be held on December 8 and all tickets must be returned by December 7.
