Fri, Sept 18 - "March" Discussion & Pizza lunch in the library - students, visit the library Schoology page for other activities related to the Res Reads selection "March"

Fri, Sept 18 - Senior deadline to select the senior portrait that will be used in the yearbook. Selection can be made online at shop.prestigeportraits.com with your session ID and password given to you with your proof or by calling the National Call Center at 800-736-4775There is no deadline for placing an order for photos.

Reservations still available for golf & lunch or lunch only - 7 am check-in and 8 am shot-gun start.

Grandparents' Day Dinner Seeking Donations & Last Call 

Needed: Donations of 2 liter bottles of soda for the Grandparents' Day Dinner.  Please have your daughter bring donations to the Main Office by Tuesday, September 15.  Thank you!

The last call for Grandparents Day Dinner tickets is Monday, September 14.  The annual Grandparents' Day Dinner will be Wednesday, September 16 at 6 pm. Tickets will be home sent home with your daughter on Tuesday, September 15. 

Well Wisher Messages

Parents, grandparents and friends may purchase a "Well Wisher Message" for a student until November 1.  Order forms are available here.

Walk-A-Thon Pledge Forms

The annual Resurrection Walk-A-Thon is Tuesday, September 29 and students received the Walk-A-Thon pledge forms in t
he annual Fundraising Packet that was sent home with students.  The packet also includes the Cash Raffle tickets, flyers about specific events and an overview guide to all of our major fundraisers.  Students should be working on getting pledges for the Walk-A-Thon!

Talcott Avenue Construction Update

West Talcott Avenue is open to traffic between North Oriole Avenue and North Canfield Avenue.  The CTA has resumed their normal route for the Higgins #88 bus.  Please reduce speed as there is restoration work remaining in the right-of-way which will continue throughout next week. 
 
Milling and paving of the new asphalt roadway surface will begin on Monday, September 14.  The milling operation will begin at North Oketo Avenue and proceed west toward North Canfield Avenue.  Talcott will be milled from Harlem to Oketo later in the week and paving should begin shortly after.
 
All of the remaining work will be completed with single lanes closures and flaggers as needed.  Expect delays.

Invitation to Speaker & Discussion Series

Resurrection parents, students and friends are invited to the speaker and discussion series "Courageous Conversations" 
at Loyola Academy.  View the 2015-16 series speakers, topics, dates and times.  The series covers issues influencing adolescents and their families and is free of charge and open to the public. Reservations are not required.
