"Res Reads" Selection  
The Res Reads 2015 committee has selected the graphic novel March by Congressman John Lewis.  

Students, staff and faculty will have the opportunity to purchase the book at a group discount price of $9 ($5 off the list price). If you would like to purchase through the Resurrection Library, please submit payment to Ms. Schneider in the Library by  Friday, May 15EBook editions are also available via Amazon, iTunes and other vendors.

All members of the school community are
encouraged to read this selection over the summer and discussions and events will be planned for the 2015-16 school year.

Parent/Teacher Conferences for 2015-16

As a result of surveying parents, Resurrection College Prep will offer Parent/Teacher Conferences twice during the 2015-16 school year. Please read this letter from Principal Maria Hawk and President Sr. Donna Marie about Parent/Teacher Conferences.

Construction is continuing on the sewers along Talcott Avenue and surrounding Resurrection.  Read the update here.  



Upcoming Parent Meetings  

Parents Club Meeting - Tues, May 12 at 7 pm in the Library. All parents are welcome to attend and learn about plans for the 2015-16 school year and ways to be involved!  Incoming freshmen parents are encouraged to attend.

Parents Club is looking for new active members. If you have an interest in helping we will find a place for you. Talented individuals willing to share their skills are needed.  We are specifically seeking people who have a background or interest in: Marketing, Decorating, Sales, Writing, Event Planning, Organizing, Creative, Finance/Accounting.


Please e-mail and/or attend the May 12 meeting if you are willing to help out.


Athletic Boosters Meeting Thurs, May 14 at 6 pm in the cafeteria ~ All parents and athletic supporters are welcome to attend.

England Trip Parent Meeting - Thurs, May 14 at 7 pm in the Library ~ Parents of students traveling to England in June 2015 are strongly encouraged to attend.  Please contact Ms. Noreen Maluchnik at if you are unable to attend.

Students donate hair at ResPunzel

On Monday, May 18 the Science Club, along with Pantene, is hosting the annual ResPunzel hair donation program.  All hair types are accepted, except dyed, bleached or permed hair.  Hair stylists will be available during lunch and seminar to cut 8 or more inches from all students and staff members who are willing to donate.  All donated hair is used to make wigs for cancer patients.

Academic Support Program Fundraiser


All parents and friends of Resurrection are invited to attend a fundraising event to benefit the
Resurrection Academic Support Program
on Monday, May 18 from 6:30-9:30 pm at 
Nonno Pino's Restaurant in Edison Park. 

The cost is $40 per person and includes
open bar, appetizers, raffles and silent auction.

Parents and Resurrection spring student-athletes are invited
to attend the Spring Sports Banquet 
on Monday, June 1 at 6:00 pm 
at White Eagle Banquets.

Tickets are $23 and are available online.
