Res Reads 2015:
The Res Reads 2015 committee has selected the graphic novel March by Congressman John Lewis. Students, staff and faculty will have the opportunity to purchase the book at a discount before the end of the current school year. All members of the school community are encouraged to read this selection over the summer and discussions and events will be planned for the 2015-16 school year.
Spring Fine Arts Events:
The Resurrection Fine Arts Department will be hosting a variety of Spring Fine Arts Events to showcase the talents of our students. Plan to come out and enjoy these performances and exhibits!

Dairy Queen Daze -
The Resurrection Parents Club is hosting a Dairy Queen Daze Fundraiser at the Park Ridge Dairy Queen located at 2 Devon Avenue (corner of Canfield and Devon) on Tuesday and Wednesday, April 28 and 29. May Parents Club Meeting -
The final Parents Club meeting for the current school year will be held on Tuesday, May 12 at 7 pm in the Library. Please plan to attend and learn about plans for the 2015-16 school year and ways to be involved!
Parents Club is looking for new active members. If you have an interest in helping we will find a place for you. Talented individuals willing to share their skills and interested are needed. We are specifically seeking people who have a background or interest in: Marketing, Decorating, Sales, Writing, Event Planning, Organizing, Creative, Finance/Accounting.
Academic Support Program Fundraiser at Nonno Pino:
All parents and friends of Resurrection are invited to attend a fundraising event to benefit the Resurrection Academic Support Program on Monday, May 18 from 6:30-9:30 pm at Nonno Pino's Restaurant in Edison Park. The cost is $40 per person and includes open bar, appetizers, raffles and silent auction. More information is available here.
ResPunzel:
On Monday, May 18 the Science Club, along with Pantene, is hosting the annual ResPunzel hair donation program. All hair types are accepted, except dyed, bleached or permed hair. Hair stylists will be available during lunch and seminar to cut 8 or more inches from all students and staff members who are willing to donate. All donated hair is used to make wigs for cancer patients.
