 on First Place at the State of the Art
Catholic High School Band Competition

and Second Place at the Midwest Music Festival

 
 

Congratulations to the members of the Resurrection/Notre Dame Band and Director Mike Wallace on two great competitions!  Best of luck to the band as they travel to Hawaii over Spring Break to perform at Pearl Harbor.  Way to go, musicians!

Spring Craft Fair

Get ready for spring gardening, Easter and Mother's Day by shopping for seasonal gifts, crafts, jewelry, accessories, home
goods, food items and more!  Shop at over 135 vendors and
crafters, enjoy lunch in the cafeteria and get ready for spring!

Bakers Needed!


The Resurrection Parents Club is hosting a Bake Sale 
at the Spring Craft Fair and is in need of bakers!
 

Baked goods can be dropped off at the main office
during the school day on Friday, March 6 or on
 Saturday, March 7 between 7:30 am - 11 am.


 
Baked goods should be individual or family size portions,
wrapped and ready for sale.

 

   


WYSE Team Takes First Place!

The Resurrection College Prep High School Worldwide Youth in Science and Engineering (WYSE) Team competed in the WYSE annual regional competition on Thursday, February 5, 2015. Resurrection students competed in academic competitions in a variety of academic categories including: mathematics, physics, biology, chemistry, English, and engineering graphics.  Resurrection students won medals and the Resurrection team came in 1st place in their division.

Tuition Assistance and Scholarship Applications

 

PSAS (Private School Aid Service) applications are available in the main office or it can be completed online this year. The PSAS application is the application for tuition assistance and must be completed for any need-based scholarship opportunity as well.  PSAS applications are due back to the PSAS company before their March 20, 2015 deadline

A variety of scholarship applications are currently available for the 2015-16 school year.  Applications are available in the main office and here.   Scholarship applications are due Friday, April 4, 2015.  Both the scholarships and the tuition assistance awards are announced by the beginning of June.

Tryouts for lacrosse, soccer, softball and waterpolo are underway.  The Spring Sports Parent Meeting will be Thursday, March 12 at 5 pm.  All spring sport athletes and a parent must attend (excluding track, since they already had their meeting).

The Empowerment Project

The Empowerment Project is a documentary film directed by Sarah Moshman that shows young women who traveled across the country to conduct interviews with women working in traditionally male dominated fields to show ordinary women doing extraordinary things.
