Res Fall Fest:

 

Have you purchased tickets for the Res Fall Fest, which will be on Saturday, October 25 from 6 - 11 pm?  We hope to see all Resurrection parents and friends at this adults only evening of food, music, games and raffles in support of Resurrection College Prep High School.   Purchase tickets

Interested in volunteering at the event?  If you volunteer for a 3 hour shift, your admission is free.   Volunteer Sign-up
 

 

Coat Drive!  Monday, Oct 20 - Friday, Oct 24

 

Please bring in (drop off to Mrs. Ulczak in the Records Office) any gently used, clean winter coats for men, women, or children for the Coat Drive sponsored by the Resurrection Business Club. 

 

Talcott Ave Construction - detour east of Harlem begins Oct 20

The City of Chicago will be undertaking infrastructure work that will take place on Talcott Avenue over the next 18 months.  Please note that Talcott east of Harlem will be closed starting next Monday.

On Monday, October 20 crews will begin sewer installation on West Talcott Avenue.  This work will require the closure of West Talcott Avenue, from North Harlem Avenue to North Neva Avenue.  A detour will be posted.  For your information here is a map of the detour route that begins on Monday, October 20.  Pedestrian traffic will not be affected.

We will keep you informed as construction continues in the months ahead. 
 

Seniors College Applications Reminder
 

A reminder to Seniors to request transcripts on Naviance and apply to colleges soon as the November priority deadlines are fast approaching.  You must request transcripts by Wednesday, October 22 in order to meet the November 1 deadline.
 

Res Reads: Chinese Cinderella Book Trailer Contest 

Students, enter the book trailer contest by submitting a 45 second - 1 minute long book trailer to Ms. Schneider by Friday, October 24.  1st prize is a $25 Amazon gift card and 2nd prize is a $15 Starbucks gift card.  More information is available in the Library or on the Library Schoology page.
