Scholarship Opportunities:

Applications are currently available for the Irish Fellowship Educational and Cultural Foundation Scholarship. This scholarship is based on financial need. The amount of the scholarship will vary depending on the number of recipients.  Besides demonstrating financial need, the recipient must also be of Irish descent.  Applications are due no later than October 10

Applications for the Mark Teach Scholarship are also now available.  The $2000 scholarship is available to current freshman, sophomore or junior students who demonstrate financial need, have current (or recent) volunteer/work experience at Resurrection Medical Center and have interest in pursuing a health-related career.  Applications are due no later than October 10

Walk-a-thon:

 

The annual Resurrection Walk-a-thon is this Tuesday, September 30 and students will be walking to and from the Pickwick Theatre in Park Ridge.  As of Friday, September 26 we had 79% participation by our students.  If we reach participation rate of 95% or more of our students and meet the monetary goal of $29,500, our students will have earned a day off on Friday, October 10.  Students - submit your Walk-a-thon pledge forms and monetary contributions on Monday!

8:25 - All students report to seminar and attendance will be taken.

8:45 - Seminars will be called to begin the walk

12:30 - Walkers arrive back at Res and attendance will be taken

12:45 - Dismissal (approximate)
 
 

Wed, Oct 1 - Sports Day  

Theme - Wear your favorite teams' apparel
 

Wed, Oct 1 - meeting for all Latin students in Room 103 during Seminar A


Wed, Oct 1 - All juniors attending the Ring Mass will report to the Administrative hallway at 2:05 and line up alphabetically for the Ring Mass Practice which will be from
2:10 to 3:00 in the gym


Thurs, Oct 2 - Throwback Thursday
Theme - Come in your grade school apparel
 
Thurs, Oct 2 - Jr. Ring Mass
at St. John Brebeuf at 6:30 pm - coffee and cake reception immediately following at the SJB Parish Center hosted by the Resurrection Parents Club.


Volunteers are still needed to help at the reception.  Please contact Alisa Martorano at amartorano@reshs.org if you are able to volunteer.
