Principal Selection Announced

On March 31, 2014 Resurrection President
Sr. Donna Maria Wolowicki, C.R. announced Ms. Maria Hawk as the newly selected Principal of Resurrection College Prep High School.   

 
Maria comes to Resurrection after serving as the Principal of Incarnation School in Palos Heights for seven years and previous positions as an educator and school administrator.

 

Maria received a BS in Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago, a Master of Arts in Teaching from National Louis University, a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from Dominican University and is currently working on a Doctoral Degree in Education at Loyola University.  We look forward to welcoming Ms. Hawk who will begin at Resurrection on June 30, 2014.

A Dramatic Success -
Romeo & Juliet

 

Congratulations to the cast and crew of the Bandit Theatre Club production of Romeo & Juliet on March 20, 21 and 22.  The performances were outstanding and showcased the talent of our amazing student actors!  Well done drama department!

 

   
   
 The Lenten Season
 
As we continue the season of Lent ,the sacrament of reconciliation
will be offered to students on Monday and Tuesday, April 7 and 8.

Chamber Orchestra Concert


 
All are welcome to attend the upcoming performance by the Resurrection Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Mr. Mike Longo on Monday, April 14 at 7 pm in the Resurrection Chapel.  
  

8th Grade Girls

Any 8th grade girls who have not tested at Resurrection and are interested in joining the Resurrection Class of 2018 are invited to take the Resurrection Entrance Exam on
Tuesday, April 29 at 7:45 am.

Resurrection Spring Break Travel
Italy & Costa Rica

 

Safe travels to students and chaperone's who will be traveling over Spring Break!  Two Resurrection trips are planned over Spring Break.

Social Studies teachers Maria Fumic and Barb Justmann will be leading a group of students to Italy (Venice, Florence & Rome) from April 17-25.  And Science teacher Jessica Wojcik and Spanish teacher Megan Loughran will be leading a group of students to Costa Rica from April 21-27. 

Our thoughts and prayers will be with these teachers and students.
Safe travels to all students, families and staff who will be traveling over Spring Break.  Have a restful and enjoyable break!

   

   
Resurrection England & France Trip
June 15-24, 2015

Resurrection English Department Chair Noreen Maluchnik will be leading a trip to England and France in June 2015 for Resurrection students from the Classes of 2016 and 2017.
