Res Fest Volunteer Opportunities 


If you are unable to attend as a guest but would like to attend as a volunteer, please go to our Volunteer Sign Up form and type in your information for either shift the night of Res Fest. Shifts are 5:00 pm - 9 pm or 8:30 pm - 12:30 am and listed on the Sign Up form.

We will confirm your spot and provide details by email the
week of the event.  Admission will be free to volunteers who
work a 4 hour shift during Res Fest.

First Semester Honor Roll  

Congratulations to students named to the honor roll for the first semester of the 2013-14 school year (August to December 2013).  



Registration for  
2014-15 School Year


Parents, please be aware that the Registration Bulletin for the 2014-15 school year will be available on-line for freshman, sophomores and juniors in early February.  Students will be meeting with their Advisors on Friday, February 7 to discuss the registration process.  

The $200 registration fee is due by February 26 in the Main Office.


Current student registration dates and times:
Thursday, February 27 from 2:30pm -7:30pm
Saturday, March 1 from 11:30am -1:00pm


Incoming freshmen registration date and times:
Saturday, March 1 from 9:00am -11:00am.  If you have an incoming freshmen that has a sister currently attending Resurrection, you may register both students at the same time on Saturday.



Winter Athletic Banquet

The Winter Athletic Banquet honoring the accomplishments of the basketball and bowling teams will be held on Wednesday, March 12 at 6 pm at Victoria Beau Jolie in Schiller Park. Tickets must be purchased by

Spring Sports Open Gyms & Tryouts

Optional Open Gym times will be offered for soccer (12-2 pm), lacrosse (4-6pm) and softball (6-8pm) on most Sundays in February.  Students should join the Schoology page for their sport and contact the coach for additional information.  


February Fitness Center Hours 

The fitness center is open to students during the following times in February:  Mondays and Fridays from 3:15-4:15 and Wednesdays 2:15-3:15.  (Please note, on Wednesday Feb 26 the fitness center hours will be 12:15-1:15pm).  The fitness center is also open to students before school, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 to 8:10 am.


Try-outs for soccer, softball, water polo, and lacrosse will be the week of March 3 - please watch for dates and time.

Theatre News


 On January 9-11, 2014 fifteen Bandit Theatre Club students attended the 2014 Illinois High School Theatre Festival. Each student attended several shows and valuable workshops, including the 2014 All-State performance of John Steinbeck's, "The Grapes of Wrath."

Senior Katie Nicolay auditioned for various colleges and universities and received 23 scholarship offers.  Congratulations Katie!  


 William Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet will be
presented at Resurrection College Prep High School
on March 20, 21 and 22, 2014.

"A Nation's Journey"
  The Civil War Part II - from Vicksburg to Lincoln to the 21st Century 
Tuesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 pm
February 25, March 11, March 25 & April 8 

Join the Spring Adult Education class with Resurrection faculty member Mr. Mike Longo. The class will begin with the final day of the Battle of Gettysburg (July 3, 1863) and the Union victory under Grant at Vicksburg (July 4, 1863). The course will cover the final months of the Civil War, through Lincoln's assassination, and will explore the meaning of the Civil War and the meaning of Lincoln's Presidency for our own time.
