New City Website
The City of Verona has a new website that is now live at www.ci.verona.wi.us. This site has a new look and several new features that should make it easier to find information and report concerns. The new site is a great source of information on City programs, services and activities.

One of the new features on the website is Notify Me which allows you to sign up to receive email or text alerts when updates are posted for calendars, meeting agendas and major news items. Another new tool is Request Tracker which makes it easy to report common concerns and to monitor the status of the request. The homepage includes updates on current news as well as City and community events. The new website is also designed to be easier to view on mobile devices.
We welcome your feedback and questions regarding the site.

Holiday Tree Collection
The City of Verona will be collecting Holiday Trees at the curb weekly throughout the month of January.
To avoid damage to our equipment, please follow these guidelines:
- Place all trees at curb side
- Remove and discard tree bags
- Remove all tree stands, ornaments, lights and other metal objects
- Trees that are not properly prepared will NOT be collected
There is also a drop off site located at 410 Investment Court. Trees can be dropped off Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. For the rest of the year, brush will be picked up the 2nd and 4th full week of each month. Please have brush to the curb by Monday morning.

Snow Reminders
Clear Your Sidewalk It is the responsibility of the property owner to clear off any snow or ice that accumulates on the sidewalk that is immediately adjacent to your property. You are required to clear snow and ice from the sidewalk within 24 hours after the cessation of any snowfall. Please do not deposit snow or ice onto the street. Fire Hydrants The Fire Department and Water Utility ask residents and businesses to help keep fire hydrants clear of snow and ice. It is important to clear a minimum of three feet around the hydrant to give the Fire Department room to work in case of fire. Mail Box Please clear the snow in front of your mailbox to avoid delays in mail delivery. Due to the weight of the snow, sometimes the Public Works Department is unable to push the snow back without damaging your mailbox. If your mailbox is damaged please call 608-845-6695 to report the damage.

Alternate Side Parking

- Vehicles should park on the even-numbered side of any public street or highway on even-numbered calendar days.
- Vehicles should park on the odd-numbered side of any public street or highway on odd-numbered calendar days.
For questions about the City's Parking requirements please contact the Verona Police Department at 608-845-7623 or click here for more information.
