Governor Doug Ducey Proclaims Oct. 5-9 Value of Water Week
In support of the Value of Water Coalition's Imagine a Day Without Water campaign, Governor Doug Ducey designated the week of October 5-9 by proclamation as the Value of Water week. This proclamation results from the efforts of the Water Infrastructure Finance Authority of Arizona (WIFA), who requested a formal recognition of the value of water from the Governor's Office. It highlights the importance of engaging and educating the public about Arizona's water resources, essential for the quality of life and economic vitality of the state.
Imagine a Day Without Water is a series of events, policy resolutions, social media campaigns, and more that seek to educate and engage the public and stakeholders about how water is essential, invaluable, and worthy of investment. More information on the campaign.
