Fingerprint Kits
As a service to teachers, the Emporia USD 253 Human Resources Department has made it more convenient to get KSDE fingerprint cards completed. The district security guards have been trained in fingerprinting and can provide teachers with fingerprints as required for KSDE licensure. Contact one of the officers to set up an appointment as needed.
There is no cost to have the fingerprinting done but KSDE does charge a $50 background check fee when the fingerprint card is submitted.
