Board Member Profile: Dr. David Link
Dr. Link views public health as a core mission of pediatrics, and has been instrumental in establishing registries at CHA to monitor and improve child health. In particular, the Childhood Asthma Registry has dramatically reduced asthmatic children's emergency room visits and hospital admissions, and the immunization registry has increased immunization rates to historically high levels. Most recently, he has established the Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder(ADHD) registry, which aims to optimize care for children with ADHD and improve their academic performance and behavior.
