Jersey City teacher taking break to vie for job umpiring professional baseball

"Martinez's break came when he was asked to umpire the Group I high school baseball state championship game between Audubon and Pompton Lakes.

That got him a slot at the Umpire School in Vero Beach." Read More.

This Lent, Reflect

Lent is the time of our lives where we are most especially called to reflect on our own lives and ask ourselves, how much do we thirst for an intimate relationship with our loving Jesus who is just waiting for us to respond to His love? It is the time that we must deeply ponder how much do we thirst for a life that is life-giving to others?

This lent, as you reflect, keep Marist in your thoughts and help us continue to move forward in St. Marcellin Champagnat's mission to help those most in need.

To those that have already helped, we express our sincere gratitude.

Sincerely in St. Marcellin Champagnat,
