LARRP & Violence Prevention Coalition Present Regional Reentry Councils Network

The purpose of the Regional reentry Councils Network is to provide a space for folks to connect from across L.A. County who are developing local coalitions to better serve the reentry community in their area. It is a place where we can learn from one another and strategize how to advocate for our collective needs and goals. We hope to bring more community and faith-based representation to L.A. County's decision making around reentry and realignment. All are welcome to attend. The meeting is co-facilitated by the Violence Prevention Coalition of Greater Los Angeles and Los Angeles Regional Reemtry Partnership.

The next meeting is April 24th, location to be announced.

Discover the 5 keys to success!

Most public funding opportunities require that proposing organizations demonstrate the ability to

fully leverage existing community resources in both the initial proposal and the fulfillment of the contract. This usually means developing relationships with other community service providers. But how do you do that?  What should be the nature of these relationships?  How do you ensure that the relationships last?  These and other tough questions are the focus of this workshop.

Purpose of this Workshop

The goal of this workshop is to assist potential partners in thinking through the collaborative structure and mechanisms necessary to support multi-agency, multi-service projects.

Workshop Leader

Peggy Edwards is the Executive Director of Los Angeles Regional Reentry Partnership and United Homeless Healthcare Partners. Peggy has more than twenty years of experience working with partnerships, collaborations, and service integration projects across the country in areas such as health, juvenile justice, child welfare, homeless services, and local governments.
