Join the Carmel Chamber of Commerce in celebrating the 100th birthday of Carmel-by-the-Sea!
The Chamber will participate in the Centennial Parade, Saturday, October 29, with walkers dressed in costumes representing Carmel business owners during the founding days of the Carmel Chamber, which was then called the Carmel Business Association. The Chamber's heritage dates back to 1922 and some of those early chamber members are still involved today. The Chamber will also host a free drinking water station during the 'Dancing Through the Decades' Street Dance on Dolores Street to provide support to the restaurants and wineries who will be serving during the dance. The Carmel Visitor Center is offering exclusive centennial commemorative items for sale daily from 10 am - 5pm, while supplies last.
To view all centennial events, a map of the parade route and information for all centennial products, click here for the Carmel centennial website.
