APRIL SHOWERS
Bring May flowers...
Jeanie Sumners

2016 Board Chair
Spring is my favorite time of the year! The beauty we are seeing is so welcoming and there are flowers that I have never seen before cascading over the hills and valleys. It's truly amazing; a great start to the new year.

There have been many events going on to promote our potential Mayoral and City Council candidates. There was a great turnout for the candidate forum held by the Carmel Chamber and I hope we were able to provide more insight into the future leaders of our incredible village.

We had a ribbon cutting for one of our new members, Aqua Wellness Day Spa. If you weren't able to join in their celebration, please be sure to drop by and welcome them. They created a beautiful facility.

Congratulations are in order to Carmel Valley Athletic Club / Refuge. They pulled out all of the stops for their recent mixer. Celebrating St. Patrick's Day, there was plenty of delicious food, wine and spirits, and, of course, green beer! It was a great event, combining great music and the ambiance of health and wellness. Thank you to their entire team!

We have mixers and ribbon cuttings throughout April that you don't want to miss. There is a ribbon cutting at Ami on April 1, a mixer at the Barnyard Shopping Village on April 20, and the Carmel Office Supply & Business Center ribbon cutting on April 21. The always-popular All- Chamber mixer returns to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca on April 28 to kick off the 2016 Motorsports Season with the Continental Monterey Grand Prix powered by Mazda. Let's support our members!

Thank you again for your support. We appreciate your participation very much.
