We hope everyone is having a good summer. We had two outstanding events earlier this month...Quail Lodge hosted a business mixer and David Lyng Real Estate hosted a ribbon cutting at their new location in downtown Carmel. Thanks to everyone for their participation. We are looking forward to our upcoming ribbon cutting at the Sunset Center featuring the Carmel International Film Festival on August 6 at 5:00pm, and wine and food will complement the event. Also, please stop by the Concours Café on August 13 from 10:30am to 3:30pm to enjoy a craft beer from Alvarado Street Brewing Company and/or Peter B's while having a snack from Carmel Bakery.
As we walked around Carmel-by-the-Sea over the 4th of July weekend, it was great seeing so many families enjoying Devendorf Park, Carmel Beach and the downtown area. These families and many other visitors who come to our village are making lifelong memories that they will treasure forever. We clearly recognize there were a lot of people at these locations during the 4th of July time-frame and during other weekends/times throughout the year. However, it's our sincere hope that the local residents/businesses welcome all visitors and encourage them to experience all that Carmel has to offer while being respectful of the environment. Most of us have been visitors to this unique area at some point in the past before becoming residents or business owners.
Our experience of Carmel as a visitor motivated many of us to move here for a variety of reasons but we believe the one constant is the quality of life and opportunities that this unique area offers. Please take the time to meet our visitors and encourage them to experience all Carmel has to offer while being mindful of our physical/natural environment.
See you around town.
