June 2015 Newsletter
From the Library Director...

Each year, the Cornwall community enjoys many fun and educational activities at the library as part of our Summer Reading programs for children and teens.  This year promises to be just as spectacular, with the theme "Every Hero  Has a Story."  From a Super Fest kickoff, to a DC vs. Marvel comic trivia clash, to a Minion Mania Party, our Youth Services Department is on a mission to keep kids and teens reading all summer long.

But did you know that we also have a Summer Reading program for adults?  Sign up to read three books, post a review, and you could win a library bag or a gift from a local business.  Our Adult program will also be featuring lectures from a Cornell Cooperative Extension Master Gardener and the film classics Chariots of Fire and To Kill a Mockingbird.  No matter the age, we believe that it's important for the entire Cornwall Community to keep reading over the summer.

Thank you to the Friends of Cornwall Library, who provide the funding for all of our Summer Reading programs.  Their tireless fundraising throughout the year makes it possible for us to provide all of the great events and programs over the summer.
For more information about all of our Summer Reading programs and events, please visit our website: www.cornwallpubliclibrary.org
