It was one more book recommendation I figured I had no time to read. But then I saw it in audiobook form at the library, a definite sign to me to check it out. I did. I listened and was enthralled with Switch: How to Change Things When Change is Hard. I'm excited to share some of their best ideas for making our environmental work easier and more effective. The EPA: Our Best Chance for Environmental Action 
It's the place to be next Monday night--hobnobbing with EPA folks, putting a face on a big government department meant to be our best friend, getting the inside scoop, finding out what they're up to. Also find out what exciting things SSC is doing and hear about the latest and best congregation green initiatives.
We're off to a great start on our monthly programs and have had 12-20 enthusiastic people participate each time. But we want to grow. We need you and your energy, so come be a part of the learning, the interaction, and camaraderie. And it's free besides! 7-8:30 PM, Village Presbyterian Church, Room 126.

Here's something your Green Team can do about The Global Water Crisis
At the January meeting, we heard an informative program  about the current challenges facing our planet regarding maintaining access to clean drinking water. We also learned about an exciting program a Green Team at a local church has done to be part of the solution.
