New Museum Los Gatos Opens
The New Museum Los Gatos, otherwise known as NUMU, will finally re-open on Saturday, June 6th. NUMU is dedicated to the intersection of art, innovation and history. NUMU replaces what was formerly known as The Museums of Los Gatos, which consisted of two small museums: one dedicated to art, the other for history.

The new location includes 6 galleries hosting 12 rotating exhibitions annually. Among the first to be shown are: Hear Art See Music containing works from Serj Tankian of System of a Down and Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine, and "Fantastic Realism"; painter Leonardo Cuervo; Giants in the Sky - The Rise and Fall of Airships, another dedicated to Woody Guthrie and the power of music to affect social change, as well as one that explores "the living history of Los Gatos."
NUMU Grand Opening is Saturday, June 6 from 12pm to 4pm. Admission will be FREE to all! There will be art activities, interactive robots and performance art!
NUMU is located at the Los Gatos Civic Center:
