"Treasures from the Collection" is the current exhibit at
The Lace Museum in Sunnyvale (through the end of October) which showcases many of the best pieces in the museum's collection of lace. All the lace in this exhibit is hand-made, some of it dating to the 17th century.

The San Francisco Fall Antiques Show is on this month (Oct 23-26) at Ft. Mason. This is one of the best museum quality antique shows in the country. I never miss it. This years exhibition is about the use and impact of precious metals in art and jewlery. There is also an excellent lecture series being presented.
