March looks like it will come in like a lion this year! We finally are getting some rain in the Bay Area! Hooray!
March, as you know, is the month of the Spring Solstice (the first day of Spring is March 20th this year) and St. Patrick's Day (always March 17th), but did you know March was also home to a total of 31 special days! These include National Pig Day (the 1st), Old Stuff Day (on the 3rd), Johnny Appleseed Day (the 11th) as well as National Goof Off Day (on the 22nd), but who could possibly forget Extraterrestrial Abductions Day on March 20th! Come on in and see us, because Vintages' Day is every day in Los Gatos!

Chronicling America is a website put together by the Library of Congress that is fantastic and indispensable for any historical research. It contains millions of pages of old newspapers from America between 1837 and 1922. It is easy to use and lots of fun.
