Village House of Books
A new independent bookstore is opening in Los Gatos at 326 Village Lane. Los Gatos residents Cheryl and Steve Hare are the proprietors of Village House of Books. They describe their venture as an eclectic "hometown" bookstore that will carry everything from the hottest bestsellers to timeless classics. The Hare's plan to have story times for children, a young adult section and will host book clubs and author signings. We welcome the Village House of Books to Los Gatos.
Village House of Books (326 Village Lane) will be open Wednesdays through Saturdays 10 am - 6 pm and Sundays 9 am - 2 pm. (408-354-6600)

Vintages' August Schedule
We will be open normal hours this month:
* Open Tuesdays - Saturdays 10am to 6pm
* Open on some Sundays 11am to 5pm
Please call ahead to see if we will be open on Sunday
* Closed on Mondays  The Los Gatos Fiesta des Artes is again being held on the Los Gatos Civic Center grounds on Saturday and Sunday, August 10-11 from 10am-6pm. Don't miss the town's one and only art and wine festival.
