Garage Sale this weekend 3 July 2015 |
A busy week for us with our Back of the Island Tour last Monday (see photos at our Facebook page), a Mosque Tour yesterday and in between an Ikea trip with only 10 trolleys but the longest receipt ever! It's more than 1m long - and even the checkout lady said "This is a long one!"
Just wanted to send a quick note as we have a Garage Sale tomorrow - not a huge one but there are some handy pieces of occasional furniture, a TV console & coffee table, a shoe/storage cupboard & mirror, plus rugs, household items and the contents of the sellers kitchen cupboards - all priced to clear. Pics & address below.
We'll be catching up with some admin in the next week or two so not a lot of activities from us - but we will be back in action soon with some new offerings! Watch this space!

Garage Sale tomorrow

Everything must go at tomorrow's sale - items include folding screen, sofa bed, 4 all-weather rattan patio chairs, pieces of occasional furniture, coffee table & matching TV console, cupboard (suitable as shoe storage) & wood framed mirror, rugs, household deco items and the contents of our sellers' kitchen cupboards.
Nothing is going to her next destination so all will be priced to clear.

Summer Sports Programme
for students Year 3 & upwards
Looking for something to do with the children this summer? SCIPS & Uplands have teamed up to offer a Summer Sports Programme but you don't need to be a SCIPS or Uplands student to join in!
Programme runs for 2 weeks from 27 July 2015 to 7 August 2015 and features swimming, football, T-ball, basketball and water games.

Two more friends are looking for maids - one has a holiday home in Batu Ferringhi and needs someone to drop by & clean it for approx 4 hours per week - times to suit. And the other is looking for help on a part-time basis with a view to perhaps having a live-in helper in the future. Two Dogs still need a new home - urgently
Two sweet female puppies need a new home as their owner has had to leave Penang suddenly due to ill health and they are now boarding at Dr Gill's veterinary clinic until a new home can be found.
Both about 10 months old and very attached to each other so it would be ideal if they could stay together - the bigger one is a Rottweiler but very loving & placid and the other an adorable & pretty mongrel.

How it works.....
Items below are offered by individual sellers so if you like something, call or sms 016 4570221 or email us for the seller's contact details. You then need to call up the seller and arrange to buy the item or for bigger items, go to view. Though we check our emails & sms to forward offers on a first-come, first-served basis, it's up to you to call the seller quickly. Please use sms or email rather than Whatsapp as the Whatsapp messages take time to pop through! We normally pass on the seller's number to the first 3 or 4 callers in case the first person to call changes their mind, doesn't call up, or the item doesn't suit. Some items are always more popular than others so if you really like something, please call quickly!
We encourage our sellers to price things reasonably so if you are thinking of making a much lower offer than the price stated here, please let us know to spare embarrassment all round!
