Chamber Sponsorship Opportunities
1. Chamber Chat (live on WJMC FM at 8:35 a.m. every Wednesday morning with Bob Rogers) We talk about upcoming events that the Chamber is involved with or sponsoring and also other non profit events taking place. Cost is only $25 a week.
2. Chilly Bowling Challenge (fund raiser- funds go toward our annual payment for the Christmas Holiday Decorations and for the Chamber's Community Fund). This will take place on Thursday, January 24th at Rand's Bowling Lanes. Cost is $150 a team of 5. There will be opportunities to win prizes that night as well as to take the "Traveling Trophy"
away from last year's winning team, Drag's.
3. Rice Lake Community Float - we need to refurbish the community float this year. We have already secured re-painting of the trailer, re-wiring the tail lights etc.. What we are looking for is funds to purchase the new materials for rebuilding it, volunteers to help design it, and we need a carpenter to guide us so that it is built properly and sturdy.
4. Newsletter insert/ads - You have the opportunity to promote your business or event in the Chamber's newsletter. Cost is $100 for members. We will put your information in the newsletter and include a link to your website/flyer plus we will also send this information out again in an e-blast.
5. Bizology After Hours Sponsors/co-sponsors/prize sponsors - You have the opportunity to participate in our monthly After Hours event. Be a sponsor and have it at your business or host at a chamber member restaurant. Be a co-sponsor with another business. Be a prize sponsor - donate prizes to be given away at the After Hours event. (we will include you in the promotions if we know early enough to do that.) Still Available: February, March, May, June, July, August, September, November & December.
Call the Chamber office today and get involved! We need our members support with these opportunities.

Bert's Joke
of the Month
One of the local pastors (name unmentioned)
was telling me this story:
Just as I began my Church Service, the electricity in the church failed. The ushers and I found some candles and placed them
around the sanctuary.
Then I reentered the pulpit, shuffled my notes and muttered,
"Now where was I?"
A tired voice called out, "Right near the end!".
