Goodbye 2013, Hello 2014!
Another year has gone by, for DEL It's been 68 years! continuing to stand the test of time. As we end the year, be sure to take some time out of your busy schedule to ponder where you are right now, where you're going and where you want to be. Reflecting on your success and failures will better prepare you for the upcoming year.
In 2013, DEL designed an upfit package that featured one of the biggest cranes integrated into the arborist community in Ontario( Effer 655 Forest Glenn). DEL has continued to build on that success by designing and up-fitting another chassis with an Effer 655 for Van Dyke's Tree Care.
Look for some big things to come from DEL in 2014, we're currently working on a brand new website to provide a robust platform to better serve our customers and provide a reliable source for truck body & equipment information.

Platform Bodies : Decks,Stakes and Racks
 DEL manufactures a broad range of extra heavy duty Decks and Stake & Rack bodies for use on chassis from class 3 all the way to up to class 8. These units are heavy duty all the way with structural steel construction (as opposed to the light gauge brake formed steel metal long and cross sills that some of our competitors use).
 Stake & Rack and platform bodies are one of the oldest and most versatile bodies that DEL produces to this day. These bodies come in a variety of different floor materials to suit different customers needs. Floor material can range from different types of wood,steel, composite plastic or a combination of different material.
Racks can vary from plywood racks with oak stakes to steel racks with steel stakes. FRP is also available as well. Stake & Racks and platform bodies can also be made to dump to disperse loads like lumber and raw materials.
Depending on your application, DEL can design a upfit package that can incorporate other specialized equipment such as a crane or a liftgate.

Holiday Schedule
Our plants in both Toronto and Burlington will be closed for the holidays. We will be shutting down at noon on Monday, December 23rd and reopening on Thursday, January 2nd. On behalf of our entire company we wish you and your families a safe and enjoyable holiday and a prosperous 2014!
