Invoke Your Rights, You May Need Them |
|
Dear Pennsylvanians,
At U.S. Law Shield a cornerstone of our program is education on firearms and self-defense law. We pride ourselves on providing gun owners and our members with up-to-date legal information to help them avoid getting caught up in the legal system.
As a continuing service, please check out a page from one of our educational publications explaining police search, seizure, and arrests. (Click on the image to the right to view it.) Should you have an encounter with law enforcement, make sure you know your rights, especially your right to remain silent.
On the back of your U.S. Law Shield membership card we have provided you with what to say to the police following a use of your firearm, including the invocation of your right to remain silent, don’t forget to use it!
If you have questions for your program attorneys on invoking your rights, or any other firearms legal question, remember you can always call our office at 877-474-7184 and speak to a program attorney.
