Congratulations to the top 3 winners at our 5th Annual Beat the Odds Celebrity Charity Poker Tournament. Matt Cauble took first place, followed by Rick Foster in second and Harvey Wells, who seems to really know what he's doing as it's not his first time at the final table, this time in third.

It was a great time. We'd like to thank our sponsors for helping making it happen and our generous volunteers who gave of their time to keep the action going. We're really looking forward to next year. Make sure you visit www.rsnhope.org/poker to see more photos of the event. Here are a few highlights below.

The money booth was a lot of fun too. We made sure Wendy Rodgers gave it a try before she worked it selling raffle tickets.

There was even time for dancing. Hasmik and Jack Black.
Dr. Villicana of Cedars Sinai didn't make the final table, but he did win in the silent auction, with a poster signed and doodled by the Director of Frozen.
Jack Black, who has been our special guest every year since the tourney began, joined by our Master of Ceremonies, Phillip Palmer, ABC Eyewitness News Anchor and kidney donor, and RSN Founder Lori Hartwell. Photo courtesy of Karol Franks.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to further RSN's mission and to make the 16th Annual Renal Teen Prom, "Sea of Dreams", a reality. The Renal Teen Prom is a special event for teenagers who have kidney disease. This year it is set for January 2015 at the Glendale Hilton.

RSN Founder and President Lori Hartwell noted, "We so appreciate Jack Black's support and the support of our many celebrity guests, who make this event great fun while helping us raise awareness about chronic kidney disease and organ donation."

RSN would also like to thank the Celebrity Charity Tournament sponsors who helped make the event a success: DaVita, U.S. Renal Care, National Renal Administrators Association, Fresenius Medical Care, One Legacy and Rusnak Pasadena Bentley Auto Group.
