Reward Based Training

Dear Clients,

We are very excited to offer training methods in a variety of programs such as walk & train, board & train and private training. With these programs,  we can help teach your companion some basic obedience like polite leash walking, curb training and more.

We have a strong passion for teaching humane education to pet parents. As pet parents, trainers and pet professionals, we all share a responsibility to the welfare of our dogs to NOT use any methods that can cause pain or fear. What is important for pet parents to understand is not to 'dominate' their dog but to be calm and CONSISTENT with it. There is Welfare in Dog Training.

Dogs, like people, go through their lives trying to work out what predicts important events (good or bad) how to avoid bad things, and how to achieve good things.

Dog training methods have evolved and so should we. We want to teach pet parents that using any type of punishment or using any type of devices that cause fear or pain,  such as: prong collars, choke chains, alpha rolling or other types of physical restraint is physical punishment, that is counterproductive and simply does not work.

We can help train your dog by teaching him what to do instead of what not to do by using force free methods and positive only reinforcement. Our training methods teach dogs to expect good things to happen.  We strongly believe, using positive reinforcement, reward based training or clicker training will make a positive difference in your dog's behavior( and welfare) and strengthen your bond with your dog.
