Audrey is Now with The Angels
It is with great sadness that I have to bring you the news that Audrey finally lost her courageous battle with cancer.
She passed peacefully in our arms Wednesday March 19, 2014.
This newsletter is dedicated to her short but brilliant life.
Sadly,

Audrey's Memorial
 | Audrey's last day enjoying the grass at home. |
Audrey had a short but but memorable life. Suzy and I adopted her in September of 2011 when she was 4 years old. She was only 6 1/2 years old when she died of Lymphoma. She survived about 11 months after being diagnosed with Stage IV Lymphoma. Her treatments from day one seemed to be going really well. She even went into remission for one short month. But unfortunately in January the cancer came back aggressively. During her chemo treatments she never missed a beat. She was perky and you would have never known she was ill. She went to all my classes, competed in Nose Work and got her NW1 Title and competed for her NW2 title just this last November. She helped me with dogs that had dog aggression problems and went to many Circus Classes while receiving Chemo Therapy. It wasn't until the end of February that we knew that we might be losing the battle. See March's newsletter for the complete story.
 | Audrey's Final Day |
She was never a quitter. Every day was a new adventure to her. Her life was short but it was full and meaningful for me and my wife. We will miss her dearly and she will never be forgotten. She taught me so much in the last 2 1/2 years
and I am so grateful for having her in my life. Two weeks before Audrey passed we brought Buddy into our lives. Buddy is a 2 1/2 year old Male Beagle that we adopted from Nor Cal Beagle Rescue. Here is a video of Audrey and Buddy the day after he was adopted.

Until we meet again at the Rainbow Bridge. Have sweet dreams my little angel.
