Happy New Year!
The world didn't end on December 21st 2012! So now we can welcome in 2013 just in time to go off the Cliff! I am still hoping that 2013 will bring us peace in the world, some cooperation in Washington and economic prosperity for all. Last year I added some new classes such as a Nosework Seminar and an Off-Leash Class. In 2013 I will be offering four new Specialty Classes to add some fun and enjoyment for you and your dog. A Dog's New Year's Resolutions
If your dog could make New Year's resolutions what would they be? Here are some that I have overheard when working with some of my dog friends this past year.
I resolve to:
1. always come when called.
2. leave the Mailman alone and declare peace.
3. stop chasing the cat.
4. stop digging up the lawn.
5. stop stealing food from tables and counter tops.
6. stop jumping on people.
7. stop barking at Mr. Squirrel.
8. get my owner to take me for 2 walks a day.
9. ignore the other dogs on my walk.
10. call The Dog Squad to help me keep these resolutions.

New Specialty Class Offerings for 2013  Classes are all 6 weeks in length and are 1 hour in length. Cost is $225 per class. Locations will be announced but will likely be in San Leandro or Oakland. Dates and times are open to change depending on interest and weather. The next newsletter will have more details on the classes and how to sign up. Saturday Class - Walnut Creek and Pleasanton
The "Dogs Downtown Excursions" are held on Saturdays at 10 AM at a variety of downtown locations in the Valley. Currently the class is held in Walnut Creek and Pleasanton and will expand in 2013.
