State of the Community Address
Thursday, March 7th 8-10am

Every now and then it's important to take a good look at our community, see where we stand, remember where we've been and take a look at where we're going.

Representatives from Montezuma County, the City of Cortez, School District Re-1 and Southwest Memorial Hospital will collectively discuss community issues that are timely and insightful. This unique dialog between community leaders is an opportunity for attendees to learn about recent achievements and upcoming initiatives affecting us all.

Join us on Thursday, March 7th from 8-10am at The Farm Bistro, 34 West Main in Cortez and enjoy their NEW breakfast menu. Everyone is welcome. The cost to attend is the cost of your meal.

FREE Leadership Development

I'd like to personally encourage you to make plans to attend our new series of the Chamber's First Friday Leadership featuring John Maxwell's "The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership" on Friday, March 1st at First National Bank.

Coffee and doughnuts will be available at 7:45am with introductions and networking. The leadership presentation and open discussion will be from 8:00-9:00am. It's absolutely free and no reservations are needed.

Effective leadership is not about experience, education, or talent. It's about choosing to grow as a leader. I hope that you will join us for this free, innovative and interactive program.

Calling all Shutterbugs!
