The Iowa Finance Authority Board of Directors recently approved a combined total of almost $2 million to assist 25 agencies across Iowa with homelessness prevention and assistance initiatives during the 2014 calendar year. Read more. The Iowa Finance Authority is seeking proposals for administrative support for the Iowa Council on Homelessness. Read more.
The Iowa Finance Authority Board of Directors recently certified the Waterloo Housing Trust Fund and the Western Iowa Community Improvement Regional Housing Trust Fund through the State Housing Trust Fund's Local Housing Trust Fund program. Read more.
The Iowa Finance Authority issued a request for proposals for a master service provider for single-family mortgage loan programs. Read more.
The Iowa Finance Authority is hosting three Housing Tax Credit developer meetings in October, and one optional meeting. Attendance at one of the three meetings is mandatory for developers planning to submit an application for 2014 Housing Tax Credits. Registration is available here.
The 2014 Draft Qualified Allocation Plan will go before the Iowa Finance Authority Board of Directors on October 2, 2013.

Bank Iowa of Clarinda was recently recognized with the State Revolving Fund's statewide top lender award and Brooke Turner of Clarinda was awarded the inaugural outstanding landowner award.

Twenty Iowa cities will benefit from a combined total of more than $42.3 million in low-cost water quality loans through the State Revolving Fund. Read more.
A new program focused on preventing and cleaning-up polluted runoff from city streets and agricultural land will soon award more than $12 million to 22 Iowa communities. The Water Resource Restoration Sponsored Projects effort, a new source of funding for water quality improvement, is seeking public comment on the 22 projects it selected out of 32 applicants and will be going before the Environmental Protection Commission on Monday, October 14, 2013.
