"Event-full" start to 2015!  2015 is kicking off with an interesting slate of special events. Here are a couple of upcoming sessions that could be very beneficial to Sarnia-Lambton's  manufacturing and service industries.

Bi-national Meet the Buyers  Develop new business contacts and potential business contracts! This unique event will provide opportunity for buyers and purchasing professionals to meet face-to-face. Resources to assist companies with exporting will also be available at the event.

Buyers - join this bi-national opportunity to meet new potential suppliers located along the Hwy 402 / Hwy I-69 trade corridor. Diversify your supply base, discover new products and cross-border contacts!  Sellers, pitch your products and services directly to decision makers!  Learn about trade resources that can help your business grow through exporting. 

Staff from Export Development Canada and the US Export Assistance Center will be at the event to provide counselling services to companies.

Meet the Buyer is hosted by Economic Development Alliance (EDA) of St. Clair County, Lapeer Development Corporation, I-69 International Trade Corridor, PTAC I-69 Thumb Region, Southwest Economic Alliance, Sarnia Lambton Economic Partnership, Blue Water Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Sarnia Lambton Chamber of Commerce.    
Sarnia-Lambton Water Symposium Industrial companies and municipal agencies are invited to this inaugural Sarnia-Lambton Water Symposium. Hear from Sarnia-Lambton based organizations working on water-related initiatives, and provincial and federal agencies involved in the development of Ontario's water sector. Thought leaders  This speaker series is designed for aspiring entrepreneurs and allows participants the opportunity to network and hear directly from local entrepreneurs, business leaders, and entrepreneurship service providers. First session starts tomorrow (Thursday, Jan 14). Sessions run Thursdays, 11:30 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. to April 06.

Discoveries That Matter
Discoveries That Matter  On December 18th residents, companies, organizations, and municipalities throughout Lambton County were introduced to their new community brand.  This community brand and accompanying logo are for use by everyone located within Lambton County. It is not a brand specific to any one municipality or organization - it is truly a community brand, to be used in conjunction with brands and logos already in use throughout Lambton.
