Uniti Fiber President Mudry to Deliver Tuesday Keynote at
The INCOMPAS Show
Ron Mudry
President, Uniti Fiber

Ron Mudry, president of Uniti Fiber, will deliver the Tuesday keynote address at The INCOMPAS Show (October 23-25 at the Gaylord Texan in Dallas).

Mudry has 29 years of experience in the telecom industry, beginning with 15 years at GTE Corporation (now Verizon). During his career, Mudry has held key management positions in finance, sales and marketing, international operations, treasury, strategic planning, and mergers and acquisitions. He has been a founding member of two successful telecommunication firms, Progress Telecom (1998) and Tower Cloud (2006), creating organizations that became industry leaders in fiber, small cell and cell site backhaul services. In addition, Mudry served as chairman of the COMPTEL CEO Council and regularly speaks at regional and national industry events.

Mudry is currently at the helm of the newly-formed Uniti Fiber, a wholly owned subsidiary of CS&L, The Communications REIT. The new organization was created from the merger of Tower Cloud and PEG Bandwidth, resulting in a combined fiber network footprint of more than 15,800 route miles. Uniti Fiber supports more than 5,200 customer connections and serves all of the major wireless network carriers, as well as numerous wholesale carriers and enterprises.

Mudry's keynote will take place Tuesday, October 25 at 10:15 a.m. at The HUB in the exhibit hall.

Uniti Fiber also will sponsor the Texas Round Up Closing Party at Glass Cactus near the Gaylord Texan from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday October 25.

INCOMPAS Mourns Passing of Former Attorney Mary Albert
Former INCOMPAS Assistant General Counsel Mary Albert died last Wednesday, October 5. Mary most recently served as director of Regulatory Affairs for the Electronic Transactions Association.

"Today we lost a dear friend, colleague and longtime champion for competition policy. Mary Albert was truly a one-of-a-kind talent. She was an attorney and advocate who could access a library of substance on a dime, and wielded the power of the pen with unmatched skill. A tireless advocate for policies and principles she loved, and a friend and mentor who always took the time to listen and laugh with co-workers who adored her," said INCOMPAS CEO Chip Pickering. "On behalf of everyone in the association, past and present, we want to extend our thoughts and prayers to her family. Mary is gone far too soon, but she has left an everlasting impact on our lives and on an industry she helped shape."
