The sad and tragic facts exposed during the six week trial of abortionalist Kermit Gosnell revealed the practice of institutional barbarism aka late term abortion. Gosnell killed children who survived his abortion attempts by using scissors to snip their spinal cords. The violations at the now infamous "house of horrors" abortion mill filled a 250 page Grand Jury Report. Gosnell faces the possibility of the death penalty with yesterday's guilty verdict on three counts of first degree murder of Baby A, Baby B and Baby D. The jury found Gosnell guilty of involuntary manslaughter in the death of 41 year old Karnamaya Mongar from an overdose of sedatives after an abortion.
While the gruesome visual evidence left all who saw it outraged, the humanity of the child in the womb was revealed time after time during the trial, shinning light into the cesspool of the abortuary. As Lila Rose of LifeAction News reminds us all "We must remember that Gosnell is not an outlier within the abortion industry, we cannot allow these 'guilty' verdicts, welcome as they are, to make us complacent when it comes to the continuing abuses happening even now in abortion facilities throughout our nation".
Despite the main stream media doing everything in their power to hide the gruesome details, Americans can no longer ignore the visual evidence that innocent, beautiful little children are being brutally killed every day in America with institutional efficiency by the abortion industry. Even today, the Cleveland Plain Dealer buried their report of this infanticide atrocity on page three. Surprisingly, when asked why they were not giving this child-killing human rights trial more coverage, the PD responded that they focus on Northeast Ohio news and would never cover a murder trial in Philadelphia! We kid you not! And here we all thought that we had a national newspaper in Cleveland!
Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of Susan B. Anthony List stated " this is a visual argument that no one would ever want to have. But if we're going to have it, lets go ahead and have it. What are the limits? What are we as a society willing to forebear?"
Is it not time for President Obama to comment on his extreme position on abortion "rights" to the point that he twice voted against the "born alive protection act"? According to Mollie Ziegler Hemingway of USA Today, the President continues to give "conflicting information about whether he supports the right to late-term abortions such as the ones Gosnell was convicted of performing".
Hemingway goes on to report - "The Gosnell trial's gruesome details about the cold-blooded killing of infants, the mistreatment of their corpses, ... have shocked the nation's consciences regarding the culture of abortion" She reminds us of the Presidents words after the school massacre in Newtown, when he was pushing for stringent gun laws "If there is even one step we can take to save another child... then surely we have an obligation to try" We should all join Hemingway when she asks " What are your thoughts, President Obama?"
On Wednesday May 15th at 9pm Molly Smith host of "From the Median" radio program aired on Cleveland Salem Radio's "1220 The Word" will invite Fr. Frank Pavone, president of Priests for Life, to discuss his plans for praying for and naming the children who lost their lives in this house of horrors. |
