Calling All Gunn Parents--Stay Connected by Volunteering!
Did you know that over 500 parents and community members volunteer at Gunn every year? There are three great reasons to be one of them: 1) Studies show that students are more engaged with their school when their parents are active participants at the school; 2) parents experience greater satisfaction and connection with their school when they participate in on-campus events; and 3) it is fun! There are opportunities to work in Gunn classes, service departments, and with the PTSA. We are eager to fill the following positions for next year:
- Inclusion rep
- Student appreciation events
- Homecoming BBQ helpers
- Staff appreciation events
- Turkey Feast helpers
- International Potluck helpers
- Forms sorting
- Data entry

Click here to see a list of opportunities and check all that interest you. We will contact you to help you decide if you'd like to join us! Questions? Contact the Gunn PTSA co-presidents: Barbara Best (barbarabest@gmail.com) or Keri Wagner (keriwagner@gmail.com).

This year 1,048 student/athletes participated in a sport, but only 745 have made the donation. Our goal is 100% participation from all sports teams, and currently our overall percentage is 71%. The suggested donation amount is $200 per athlete/per sport played. You can make your donation online at www.gunnsportsboosters.com or by check payable to Gunn Sports Boosters.
