Honor Your Gunn Student
Honor your Gunn student with a lifelong gift by purchasing a beautiful, permanent nameplate to be placed in the Gunn Titan Gym foyer. This gym is used for 90% of the Gunn events and will be seen by students, teachers, board members, administration and the community. This is also a 100% tax-deductible donation. 100% of the proceeds go to Boosters to be used to enhance Gunn Athletics through scholarships, replacing equipment, paying for buses and students to attend CCS games and building TEAM SPIRIT. Questions or want to order? Contact Pam Perez at pep@pamperez.com or (650) 223-9795. After school activities keep kids out of trouble, allow them to bond with students they may never meet and give them a sense of community.

Support Gunn Athletics: Make Your Athletic Participation Donation Today!
The participation percentage for Fall & Winter sports teams is 71%...29% short of our 100% goal. With an annual budget of approximately $200,000 (transportation costs alone exceeding $90,000), the Athletic Department relies solely on the donation from the families to cover the expenses of the teams. Can we count on you for a donation? If so, you can make your donation on line at www.gunnsportsboosters.com or by cash/check and mail it to Gunn High School. The suggested donation amount is $200 all donation amounts ($20, $30, $50, $100) are all accepted and appreciated. Questions email Jill at spainsdj@comcast.net.

Mon, Mar 14, 7-8 PM, Mitchell Park Library Midtown Room, 3700 Middlefield Rd, Palo Alto
Who do you talk to about the joys and challenges of parenting our teens? Would you value exploring new perspectives from nationally recognized experts, while fostering a stronger community with other parents within Palo Alto?  Please join us for a one-hour meeting to launch Continuing the Conversation Series. The aim of this series is to bring together small groups of parents from across PAUSD to share the joys and challenges of parenting our teens. Please email Kirsten Daehler (krdaehler@gmail.com) if you have any questions about the Series or the March 14th meeting.

Join the Palo Alto Council of PTAs
The Palo Alto Council of PTAs is looking for a few good candidates to help fill some vacancies on our roster for the 2016-17 school year. The Council works with the district staff, the Board of Education, community partners and the PTAs at all 17 schools to support the students and families of our district. It offers a great opportunity for individuals to get a broader view our district and build bridges between schools/PTAs in service of the broader community. Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra Senior Ensemble Concert, "Past, Present and Future"
Sat, Mar 12, 7:30 PM, Cubberley Theatre, 4000 Middlefield Rd
We have an amazing Senior PACO Ensemble concert coming up this Saturday, March 12th, 2016 at the Cubberley Theatre located in the Cubberley Community Center on 4000 Middlefield Rd, Palo Alto! PACO's own Kris Yenney, longtime director of our SuperStrings and Preparatory orchestras, takes the helm for this special concert honoring PACO's past and present while looking to the future. Starting with an ensemble from the Prep division, "TREE-O!," and featuring 2 senior quartets, the orchestral offerings will include Corelli's Concerto Grosso da camera, Opus 6, No. 11. It's then time to kick up our collective heels with Mozart's delightful Serenata Notturna, K 239. The Serenata's Solo Quartet will feature players from PACO's ever-growing stable of illustrious alums-Carol Kutsch, Heidi Yenney, Holly Barnes and Jared Pabilona, plus a surprise accompanying timpanist. We'll slip in a bit of Bartok, then finish the night with an all-time PACO favorite, Boccherini's devilishly playful La Casa del Diavolo. You won't want to miss this rare gathering! Admission is FREE!
