The strip layout featured in the video above was created by a newbie die designer with only one year of experience.
It shows not only the incredible power of Logopress3, but also the talent of the younger generation - just waiting to be given an opportunity. This generation is eager to learn; we just need to provide them with the proper learning environment and tools.
Note that the first time this young man attempted to create this strip layout it took him about one hour, and he used an existing strip layout as a visual guide to know what needed to be done in each station.
But it is important to note that no data was used from that reference strip layout in the creation of this new 25 minute strip layout.

Accurate Die Design, Inc. and Logopress Corp. have teamed up to help teachers in their tool & die and their die design programs by adding Logopress3 die design software to their current curriculums.
Logopress3 allows teachers to teach concepts more quickly and effectively than with SolidWorks alone. Just one example is the Logopress3 Intelligent Animation and Dynamic Interference Detection command. This fast and easy command goes a long way in helping the students to visualize their projects running in a virtual press and showing the interference that can occur as the strip is feeding through the die.
Some of the schools that will be teaching their die design classes with the assistance of Logopress3 die design software this fall include:

Meet all three of our resident technical experts, Ray, Matt and Paul all in one place at the 3rd annual Die Design and Simulation Software Experience being held next week in Rosemont, IL (Chicago). Also meet our customer, Mike Schmit, Engineering Manager & die designer at Oldenburg Metal Technologies, Inc. and hear his case study. Find out firsthand how Oldenburg Metal Tech's four die designers use Logopress3 to increase productivity and eliminate mistakes in their die designs.

This 1.5 day event starts at 4:00 pm on Wednesday afternoon and runs until end-of-day on Thursday. There is no deadline for registration and you can even register at the event.
