First and most importantly we want to express our deepest sympathies and send well wishes to those affected by Hurricane Sandy. November is always a time of gratitude and even in this time of tragedy we can find solace in the human spirit, which thrives and often overcomes adversity.
This fall season Private Eyes, Inc. has so much to be thankful for; strengthened and renewed bonds with clients, positive growth, and just being a witness to the exciting changes that are taking place all around us. In keeping with giving thanks for family, friends, and the wonderful staff, I have decided that starting November 2012 a percentage of profits from 4506-Transcripts.com will go to the American Cancer Society. USCIS Releases New E-Verify Enhancements

 On September 16, 2012, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced a new round of system enhancements for users who access the program directly through a web browser. In addition, E-Verify will provide users with a new "Quick Audit Report" feature to enable the production of E-Verify activity records in response to government audits. The report will display relevant E-Verify case data but will not include sensitive employee information such as Social Security numbers.

Progress Announced: IRS Now Accepts Electronic Signatures on 4506-T Form

The big news recently is that starting in January, the IRS has approved the use of electronic signatures on the 4506-T form and will release electronic requirement guidelines in the coming weeks. Certainly, getting rid of this barrier to adopting e-signatures will be huge. The new IRS initiatives should provide lenders with new verification solutions and lower origination costs while speeding along loan closings. Consumer satisfaction is expected to rise as the 4506-T  may now be bundled with disclosures eligible for execution using electronic signature. For conforming mortgages prior to this week's announcement, the 4506-T was the final form in the initial set of consumer disclosures not eligible for electronic signature.
The development is seen as an important step in streamlining loan approvals, as the current process of verifying a borrower's income and financial profile can take days or even weeks. And of course the choice is up to the consumer; any electronic signature method that meets the guidelines can be used when obtaining taxpayer authorization instead of a handwritten signature. The consent form will be included with your order for a tax transcript request using the same process as you do today.
